Higher edcuation politics - students' view

Project “Higher education politics-students’ vision” is aimed eliminate problems in educational system. Project provides the involvement of students, academic personnel and universities’ administrations into development of higher education politics. In this case, the research will take place. Meetings are scheduled throughout Georgia, with accredited higher education facilities and their personnel. Discussion will be held about: judicial status of higher education facility; system of universities’ financing; decentralization of government; academic freedom in Georgian educational system and so on. On the final stage, the testimonial will be developed. The document will be presented to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, as well as to other governmental agencies and interested society. The project is being implemented under the auspices of “Georgian Young Constitutionalists’ Association” and “Georgian Young Sociologists’ Association.” The project is financed under the auspices of Eastern-Western managing institute (EWMI) program-“Development of society, advocacy and public policy in Georgia” (G-PAC).

Young people for constitutional changes

Project is aimed to stir interest of young people to constitutional changes and provide their involvement in this process. Association will advocate initiatives into process of constitutional changes. Project gives opportunity to improve knowledge of modern constitutionalism and historical aspect of supreme rule. At the final stage, the testimonial will be sent to government, non-governmental organizations and any interested person will be able to become familiar with it.
